Daily and Practice
- Daily: one puzzle per city each day, the same for everyone. You get
one try. A new puzzle starts at midnight (your time).
- Practice: as many random rounds as you like, at the difficulty you
choose. In Settings (⚙) you can also limit practice to some districts of the city.
- Stats counts your daily puzzles per city (practice doesn't count).
After a daily, Share copies a spoiler-free summary of your guesses.
Guessing
- You have 5 guesses.
- On a touch screen, a tap places a pin; press Guess here to use the
guess, or tap somewhere else to move the pin.
- A guess is correct if it is within 50 m
of the intersection.
- Some streets cross more than once. Finding any of their crossings counts as a win.
- Guess markers show how close you were: yellow under 500 m,
orange under 1 km, red under 3 km, dark further away,
green found.
- After each guess, the table shows the nearest intersection to your click and how far you
are from the right spot. If one of its streets is one you are looking for, it is marked
with a ✓ in that street's colour: follow it!
Hints
Each hint can be used once per round and does not cost a guess.
- Street highlights one of the two streets on the map.
- District names the district the intersection is in and outlines it on
the map.
- Area draws a circle that contains the intersection.
- Directions shows which way to go from each guess.
Difficulty
Daily puzzles are always Medium: at least one of the two streets is a main road. In
Practice, choose Easy, Medium or Hard in Settings (⚙). Easy uses only main roads. Hard can
use any street, including small side streets.
